Privacy policy

KOBRA at kobra.world is operated by Mukesh Chawla. Contact: support@kobra.world.

Revision: 27 September 2026.

Information we use

When you sign in with Google, Google shares your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, with our authentication provider. KOBRA does not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail, contacts or files.

We store your chosen username, optional avatar photo or snake selection, account identifier, room membership, game state, scores, completed-game results, room chat messages and connection timestamps. Hosting and authentication providers may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the service.

Why we use it

We use this information to sign you in, preserve your seat, enforce unique usernames, operate multiplayer games and chat, show your history, recover connections and prevent abuse.

Who can see it

Your chosen avatar is public and accessible by username. You can replace an uploaded photo with a snake in your profile; cached copies may remain briefly. Players in your room can see your username, public game information and room messages. Your hand stays private until the rules reveal it. Your account history is available through your signed-in account. Muting hides messages on your device; it does not delete them or hide them from other players.

Google handles Google sign-in, Supabase provides authentication and database storage, and Vercel hosts the application. These providers process information needed to run the service and may process it outside your country. KOBRA does not use Google account data for advertising or sell it.

Cookies and storage

Optional voice chat at private friend tables uses LiveKit to transmit your microphone audio to other players in your room while you hold the talk button. LiveKit receives your room identifier, player identifier, username and connection information to provide the call. KOBRA does not record voice calls. You can leave voice chat at any time; individual voice mutes only change what you hear. Microphone access is requested when you join voice.

Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage remembers your room and preferences. You can log out of this device or clear browser data. Clearing storage or revoking Google access may require a new sign-in. Logging out does not delete stored account or game records.

Retention and your choices

Unfinished rooms are eligible for deletion after every human player has been absent for 10 minutes, together with their room chat and matchmaking records. Known server pauses are protected. Completed game results and account records are retained without an automatic deletion schedule. To request access, correction or deletion, email support@kobra.world. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Removing KOBRA’s access in Google stops future Google access but does not automatically delete previously stored records.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when data practices change and show the revision date. Questions and data requests can be sent to support@kobra.world.
